Do you love playing Card Games like Solitaire or Rummy? Then there’s good news for you! Here at RewardIt, we have many card games waiting to be played. We currently have: Gin Rummy, Klondike Solitaire, Pyramid Solitaire, and Tri Peaks Solitaire for the person who loves Card Games. Here, we’ll tell you all about these amazing Card Games.
To play Gin Rummy, Each of the two players is dealt 10 cards. One that’s turned face up will be dealt to the “discard pile”, and the remaining cards will be turned face down and placed in a “stock pile” next to the discard pile.
To start the round, you can pick the top card from the discard pile, or the top card from the stock pile, and then discard one card from your hand to the discard pile. The computer will follow your actions and the game will continue. Each card in your hand becomes “melds” and “deadwoods.” Melds are three or four cards of the same rank or suit in sequence. (Melds can’t overlap, so one card can’t belong to two melds). The remaining cards that are in your hand that can’t be matched are called “deadwoods”. Each deadwood card carries points: the Ace has one point; two has two points, etc. J, Q, K carry 10 points each. Your goal of the game is to lower the amount of deadwood points.
After discarding a card, you can end the round if your deadwood point is less than or equal to 10. The computer then gets a chance to get rid of its deadwood cards if it can form melds with your cards. After that, if your deadwood point is less than the computer’s, you will be awarded a score equal to the difference in the deadwood points.
The game ends when a player reaches 100! If there are only two cards that remain in the stock pile, then the game ends in a draw. RewardIt Tip: The more melds you make the more of an advantage you’ll have!
To start playing Klondike Solitaire, you’re given 52 cards. The object of the game is to move all of the cards in the four foundations (spades, clubs, hearts, and diamonds) by their suits from Aces to Kings. You can move the top card of the pile to another ‘tableau’ pile by alternating color in descending order. Note, only the King cards or cards that start with a King can be moved.
The object of this Pyramid Solitaire is to eliminate all of the cards on the pyramid by pairing cards that add up to 13. In this particular game, the points per card are different than in other card games. The Jack is 11 points, the Queen is 12 points, the King is 13 points and the Ace has 1 point. All of the other cards however are the same amount of points as the number on their card. For example, the 5 of spades has 5 points, the 10 of hearts has 10 points and so on. RewardIt Tip: Cards cannot be removed if other cards are on top of them in the pyramid.
Tri Peaks Solitaire is a fun and unique way to play Solitaire. The object of this card game is to move all of the cards from the three peaks to the bottom of the screen where the ‘discard’ pile is. To match cards, you can click a card that’s above or below the card that you have. For example, if you have an ‘8’ you can pick a 7 or a 9 card, and earn points. RewardIt Tip: To win the game, eliminate all of the cards!
